Vittorio Spernanzoni was born in 1936 in Morrovalle, in the heart of the Marche region.At a very young age, in the post-war years, he began working as an apprentice at a shoe factory in his hometown.After a short time, he opened a small workshop in the basement of his home, where he began experimenting with different product finishing techniques.In 1965, his entrepreneurial adventure began with the first production of footwear entirely made in his workshop.Although he passed away prematurely, he still managed to pass on his knowledge and passion to his children Enrico, Roby and Lorella, who continue to work along the path traced by their father, creating products with attention to every detail.

This innate propensity to continuously improve the knowledge of its craft has allowed the Spernanzoni company to establish itself, over a twenty-year period, as one of the most excellent artisan workshops in the world, in the production of Goodyear welter footwear and more.The line of products made entirely by hand under the Vittorio Spernanzoni brand is a choice of coherent recovery of a manufacturing tradition that continues to rely exclusively on the skill of craftsmanship, which, with few tools, creates with infinite patience and great expertis

Vittorio Spernanzoni wants to create an exclusive product that can best express the advantages of a strictly manual and artisanal construction, the result of a process of deindustrialization of the same manufacturing phases.Each phase is in fact mainly done by hand, so that each product can reflect the personality and skill of its creator.It is therefore up to the craftsman to carry out, with the expertise of a true master, all the phases that make up each shoe, from cutting to hemming, up to assembly and finishing;a key element that decisively embellishes the product.

We thus return to a modus operandi typical of pre-industrial shoemaking, the prerogative of great lords until the 1940s and 1950s and the expression of a timeless art.In this way, tradition and innovation meet in the meticulous and careful recovery of centuries-old knowledge, which time has often risked removing from the memory of man.With patience and absolute concentration, each shoe is born, step by step, thanks to the meticulous work in the hands of the craftsman, which give the product the most important value: that of time.It is in fact in time and through time that each shoe becomes a small work of art, the fruit of the expertise and dedication of a person who has dedicated many years of his life to learning this ancient craft
